Craig
Craig started Brain Freeze Trivia in 2015 after he decided to fill in for fun as a trivia host at a local bar when their host had quit. He enjoyed it so much that he spent many nights perfecting the Brain Freeze format of trivia that has something for everyone- half general knowledge questions, and half NAME THAT TUNE. Since then, Brain Freeze Trivia has gained momentum and popularity within the Placer County community. He soon brought in his wife Kristy to start hosting in 2016, and now 9 more hosts have joined the team in the last 5 years. Craig spends all week building trivia and music bingo for all his hosts. Brain Freeze Trivia now has 15 weekly locations for trivia nights, 4 weekly locations for Music Bingo, and specialty nights throughout the year that include Sing-along nights, Adult Scattergories, DJ nights, and more. He also owns Arrow Entertainment with his wife Kristy, where he is a DJ for weddings and other events. He is known for his dad jokes when he hosts, and loves anything Star Wars-especially building the Lego sets for them!
Kristy
Kristy is Craig’s wife and has thoroughly enjoyed being part of Brain Freeze Trivia and working along side her husband. Kristy is also a DJ, a Wedding/Event Planner, and an Officiant in their other company Arrow Entertainment. Kristy really enjoys getting to know all the trivia players and talking to them during trivia nights. She loves spending time her 3 dogs and traveling to different parts of the world. Her goal is to hit all 7 continents within the next 10 years!
Ashley
Ashley joined the Brain Freeze Trivia team in the beginning of 2022. She quickly has become someone that we can count on, and even helps with events with Arrow Entertainment. She loves being a host at night to get a little break from her day job as an operations manager. She enjoys hanging out with the trivia players and telling jokes. On her off time, you can find her rocking out to Taylor Swift, watching Star Wars, or grabbing a churro from Disneyland. She would love to meet you!
Rohn
Rohn also joined the Brain Freeze Trivia team in early 2022. He hosts a couple times a week mainly in the Yuba City area since he is the closest to those locations. By day he works for Adventist Health Hospital. Rohn can be found playing Trivia on nights he’s not hosting, playing disc golf, and spending time with his much loved daughters and dogs.
Vivian
Vivian also joined the Brain Freeze Trivia team in early 2022. She was a regular player, and decided to become a host for us from time to time. She is lucky enough to be retired-so when she’s not playing trivia or watching Jeopardy, you can find Vivian traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and taking her dog on beautiful walks.
Jessica
Jessica joined the Brain Freeze Trivia team in 2023. During the day she works for the State of California Department of Public Health. She used to work at Disneyland, and while working there she met her husband and moved back to Northern CA. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her family and reading mystery thriller books.
Nick
Nick joined the Brain Freeze Trivia team in 2024. During the day he works as a coroner detective. He loves telling dad jokes (even though he said most people don’t laugh 🤣) cycling, spartan races, paddle boarding, and playing board games. He has been known as “the king of the pool party”!
Catie
Catie joined the Brain Freeze Trivia team in 2024. By day she is a hairstylist and a lead service porter. On her free time, she streams on Twitch and she loves all things K-Pop. She enjoys a good dad joke so if you know any good ones, make sure you tell her!
Hillary
Hillary joined the Brain Freeze Trivia team in 2023. She loves hosting trivia-but especially Music Bingo so she can dance around and sing. Her day job is in the HR department of her company and she loves anything outdoors. Hosting trivia has helped her come out of her shell and she loves seeing all the players become part of her trivia family.
Mars
Mars joined the Brain Freeze Trivia team in 2024. During the day she works for Placer County Water Agency. She just graduated Sac State with a degree in Geology. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, swimming, crocheting, and watching the Dodgers.
Jenny
Jenny is our newest host and joined the Brain Freeze Trivia team in January 2025. She is a kindergarten teacher and loves every minute of it. Her hobbies include playing soccer, coaching soccer, puzzling, and Cricuting. She also just loves spending time with her 4 fur babies and the wonderful man in her life Pete.
